We warmly welcome all visitors to the Church of the Holy Spirit, whether you are in town for the weekend or are looking for a permanent church home. We want you to feel comfortable on your first visit, so if you don’t find an answer here, feel free to contact us!
What happens during church?
You will be greeted by a friendly usher, who will give you a bulletin containing information for the service. Children are always welcome.
Our worship is liturgical, that is, it follows a predictable outline based on ancient Christian practice. It includes Bible readings, a message (sermon, homily, or interactive time), prayers, hymns, and Eucharist (communion). You will be invited to stand, sing, pray, and read out loud with others, as well as to receive communion. Please join is as you are comfortable.
